As Bradley County's only cardiac cath unit, averaging over 400 procedures annually, the cardiac service department has grown in response to the needs of the community. The cardiac cath unit includes the revolutionary GE Innova 2002. Utilizing a new CT workstation, our physicians are able to perform arterial scoring, a new diagnostic technique that can detect arterial blockage from plaque build-up.
SkyRidge Medical Center's Cardiac Care Services are located on the first floor. Under the medical direction of a board-certified cardiologist, specially trained cardiac nurses and technologists work hand-in-hand making sure patients and their families are comfortable, safe, and informed during cardiac procedures.
