Our Diagnostic Imaging Center houses the latest tools for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, CT scanning capabilities (including the GE LightSpeed CT Scanner, the first scanner capable of simultaneously capturing multiple images of a patient's anatomy), general radiology (x-rays), mammography and nuclear medicine. 

SkyRidge Medical Center also offers the latest in open MRI technology. The MAGNETOM C! which is the most compact and powerful, midfield, open MRI system from Siemans Medical Solutions. The MAGNETOM C! here at SkyRidge is the first magnet of its kind in any hospital in the United States.

The system is open on three sides to permit ease of side loading and optimized patient comfort. MAGNETOM C! features multichannel imaging which allows simultaneous placement of up to four coils, providing the largest anatomical coverage area in mid-field MRI. The system offers enhanced gradients for rapid acquisition and highly differentiated image details, and iso-center imaging which assures high image quality. The multi-channel application suite is available for neurological, orthopedic, angiography, body, oncology, cardiac and pediatric applications, giving the patient the best care possible.
