SkyRidge Medical Center provides a broad spectrum of comprehensive patient and family services in the comfort of your own home.
Home Health
Home Health care is a viable alternative to long-term medical center stays and eliminates the need for frequent trips for monitoring, treatments or therapies.
SkyRidge Medical Center offers an array of services performed by a staff of caring and dedicated professionals. To ensure a high level of quality, SkyRidge physicians monitor the programs.
SkyRidge Home Health Care services are accredited by The Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and include professional nursing, health aide assistance for personal care, occupational and physical therapists, speech therapists, nutritional support and social services.
Services are available to all patients based on need, not ability to pay. All patients receive impartial access to medically indicated treatments regardless of race, creed, sex, religion, national origin, physical or mental handicap, age or source of payment.
Hospice Care
Nurses, professional counselors and other support staff help terminally ill persons live at home as comfortably and fully as possible. The Hospice staff works to manage or reduce problems including pain, fear and loneliness.
Care and support are given to the family before as well as after the patient's death. Hospice care is available to those who have a life expectancy measured in weeks or months. Neither the Hospice patient nor family receives a bill from Hospice.
